About me

Hey, I’m Reid Lochrie

Hey, I’m Reid Lochrie

Hey, I’m Reid Lochrie

I’m a Calgary-based videographer and multidisciplinary creative specializing in live music, festivals, and event production.

Having a professional photographer for a mom made it easy to develop an early interest in visual storytelling. I grew up around cameras, but what held my attention was how differently the same moment could feel depending on how it was captured. That influence eventually led me to Kelowna, British Columbia, where I graduated from the Professional Filmmaking program at Centre for Arts and Technology.

Today, my work ranges from multicamera performance coverage and festival recaps to short-form content, photography, and branded media. I’m most at home in fast-moving environments where preparation, instinct, and collaboration all matter.

My creative background also extends into directing, producing, editing, and graphic design for film. Whether I’m working independently or alongside a larger production team, my goal is to create work that feels emotional, intentional, and true to the experience in front of the lens.

My focus moving forward is to keep building within the concert and festival space, meeting new collaborators and taking on more ambitious live productions. Right now, that means expanding the scale of my multicamera work and continuing to grow the business around it. Over time, I hope the relationships I’m building through live music can lead into larger, properly resourced music videos and other creative productions that I can help develop and direct from the initial idea through the final edit.
